Being able to add that very strange shape to connect two blocks in very specific circumstances would be very useful for a lot of builders. Or even just add in a Thomas the Tank Engine block -- we won't judge.
The idea, succinctly: Add the ability to load custom blocks and program custom behaviours for the new block type.
